Happy Monday Morning!
Today will be my first day of immersion school in Montepulciano, Italy. About six years ago on a trip to Florence, Italy, my aunt, a good friend and I decided that one day we would return to Italy and go to immersion school.
As you know, time flies by so quickly and even though the three of us have made two separate trips back to Italy together we did not go to immersion school.
Last year we said that 2013 will be the year for school and today we start.
Learning new languages has been proven to “stretch” your mind and make it work hard. Studies are saying that if we do things to challenge our minds it may prevent aging diseases such as dementia.
If this is true, I would say over the next two weeks our brains will be pretty challenged. After two weeks of hard studying we are treating ourselves to a week in France to visit family.
While I am away, few good blogging buddies have been very kind fill in for me. I am sure you will enjoy their posts and hopefully will follow them on their blog sites.
You can be sure that I will be jotting down stories and taking plenty of pictures to share with you when I return. If there is something that you have always wanted to do, you just have to find a way to do it.
Enjoy life! It is just too short not to….
