Yesterday, my post was about levity in the workplace and featured author Tom Peters. Today, I want to give you some tools to help create an environment where employers, employees and their customers can enjoy and thrive in.
If you have not read any of the books by Barbara Glanz, you will want to pick a couple of them up for your library. The two books that I use often as resources are “Care Packages For The Workplace” and “Care Packages For Your Customers.”
Each of these books has hundreds of ideas to enhance and improve your place of business while bringing fun and enjoyment to those who work there and those you serve as customers.

One of the tips that I used was to make sure that everyone who works in our practice have business cards. We allow each employee to design their own card, this way it is truly theirs and it is something that they are proud to give out. This was such a simple thing, yet it has made a big difference to our staff members and they feel like they are really a part of the practice.
