Can A Smile Be Contagious?

Butchers in a supermarket at work

Recently when I was shopping at a local store I observed the young woman behind the counter, I could not help but notice her beautiful smile.  She was helping an elderly man and as she spoke her face just beamed with this wonderful smile.  I could not help but smile as I watched her.

The store was crowded, but it did not seem to take a toll on this young woman.  She helped each person make decisions regarding their needs all while wearing her contagious smile.  I noticed the other waiting customers began to catch her friendly spirit and were engaging each other in light conversation while they waited.

The whole place had a good feeling and it was due to this woman’s smile and friendly spirit.
